Google Engage: Development 2

After coming up with the ideas I thought it was time to choose one that I liked to develop.

I really liked the idea of using the pictograms as they are faceless, which means you can choose to interpret their action in anyway you want, based upon how your feeling or how you mind works which differs for everyone. So I chose to draw some more ‘happy’ and ‘sad’ posters up using the pictogram theme.

Not only did I mock up the figures in different poses I also added a floor beneath them that consisted of 3 lines. The ‘happy’ posters have the two lines as a solid platform to stand on, where as the ‘sad’ posters are using the very small area of line to stand on, almost as if they are unstable, they are on the edge, just to emphasise the fact that people with mental illness don’t always have stability.
